Pizza & Pages
Tuesdays, 3-4 pm. Eat pizza & talk books! Limited copies of the book are available in advance at the Adult Reference Desk.
Anime Afternoons
Wednesdays, 3-4:30 pm, on January 27, February 24, and April 28. Drop in for anime (PG-13) and munchies! No registration needed.
Teen Movies @ SDL
Fridays @ 3 pm on January 29, February 26, March 26, April 30, and May 28. Also, Friday, February 12 @ 11 am. Hang out and enjoy some movies and good eats! No registration needed. See newsletter or information at the library for movie titles.
Loves Me, Loves Me Not
Wednesday, February 10, 3-4 pm. Eat Valentine’s treats, decorate cookies, make red or black duct tape roses, etc.
Fantasy Drawing
Thursday, February 18, 3:15-4:30 pm. Learn how to draw imaginative fantasy creatures, like winged beasts or anime critters, with artist Keith McGuire.

Japanese Pop Culture
Wednesday, March 31, 3-4 pm. Anime and manga fans unite! Make candy sushi and Hello Kitty or Toro the Cat lanterns, eat Japanese snacks, join a cosplay fashion show, & more.
English Day
Tuesday, April 20, 3-4 pm. Sample British snacks, enjoy British humour, and make cool brass rubbings of royalty, dragons, and other figures.
Mother’s Day Cards
Wednesday, May 5, 3-4 pm. Create a special card for your parental unit; no artistic talented needed! All supplies are provided.
Teen Job Seminar: Landing a job in a tough market
Thursday, May 20, 3-4 pm. Join us to discuss how to write a resume, fill out applications, find open positions, and nail that interview. We will have applications from local businesses who may be hiring for the summer and other ideas for job leads.
Eclipse Pre-Party
June 29 at 2 pm. Can’t wait for Eclipse to open in the theater? Come to our Twilight themed teen party, make gothic crafts, try your hand at Twilight games, and feast on vampire cuisine.
